【摘要】:1.1Thisclassificationsystemcoverspolyamide-imidematerialssuitableforinjectionmoldingandextrusion.1.2Thepropertiesincludedinthisclassificationsystemarethoserequiredtoidentifythecompositionscovered.Theremaybeotherrequirementsnecessarytoidentifyparticularcharacteristicsimportanttospecializedapplications.ThesemaybespecifiedbyusingsuffixesasgiveninSection.1.3Thisstandardallowsfortheuseofrecycledmaterialsprovidedthatspecificationrequirementsbaseduponthisclassificationsystemaremet.1.4Thisclassificationsystemandsubsequentlinecall-out(specification)isintendedtobeameansofcallingoutplasticsmaterialsusedinthefabricationofenditemsorparts.Itisnotintendedfortheselectionofmaterials.Materialselectionshouldbemadebythosehavingexpertiseintheplasticsfieldaftercarefulconsiderationofthedesignandtheperformancerequiredofthepart,theenvironmenttowhichitwillbeexposed,thefabricationprocesstobeemployed,theinherentpropertiesofthematerialotherthanthosecoveredbythisclassification,andtheeconomics.1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.(Reportingininch-poundunitsisacceptable.)Note1ThereisnoequivalentorsimilarISOstandard.Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsportion,Section11,ofthisclassificationsystem:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
