【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethodcoverstheevaluationoftheenergyconsumptionandcookingperformanceofopen,deepfatfryers.Thefoodserviceoperatorcanusethisevaluationtoselectafryerandunderstanditsenergyefficiencyandproductioncapacity.1.2Thistestmethodisapplicabletobothcounterandfloormodelgasandelectricunitswithnominalfryingmediumcapacitylessthan60lb(27kg).Forlargevatfryerswithanominalfryingmediumcapacitygreaterthan60lb(27kg),refertoTestMethodF2144.1.3Thefryercanbeevaluatedwithrespecttothefollowing(whereapplicable):1.3.1Energyinputrate(10.2),1.3.2Preheatenergyandtime(10.4),1.3.3Idleenergyrate(10.5),1.3.4Pilotenergyrate(10.6),1.3.5Cookingenergyrateandefficiency(10.10),and1.3.6Productioncapacityandfryingmediumtemperaturerecoverytime(10.10).1.4Thistestmethodisnotintendedtoanswerallperformancecriteriaintheevaluationandselectionofafryer,suchasthesignificanceofahighenergyinputdesignonmaintenanceoftemperaturewithinthecookingzoneofthefryer.1.5Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
