【摘要】:ThispartofISO3338specifiesthedimensionsofflattedcylindricalshanksformillingcutters(ofdiameters6mmto20mmforsingle-flattedshanksanddiameters25mmto63mmfordouble-flattedshanks).Inthecaseofsingle-flattedshanks,itisapplicabletobothsingle-endedcuttersanddouble-endedcutters,asdouble-flattedshankscannotadmitsingle-endedcutters.ThedimensionsofplaincylindricalshanksandofthreadedshanksaregiveninISO3338-1andISO3338-3respectively.ThetwoshanktypescoveredbyISO3338-1andthispartofISO3338havethesamedimensionalcharacteristics(diametersandlengths)butdifferenttolerancesondiameters,namely:—h8forplaincylindricalshanks,commonlyusedfortoolsmountedincollets;—h6forflattedcylindricalshanksintendedtobemountedinchucksandsecuredwithaclampingscrew,andrequiringanaccuracyadjustment.
