【摘要】:ThisStandardestablishesminimumrequirementsandprovidesguidelinesfortheproperdesign,installation,examination,andtestingofsiphonicroofdrains.Itincludesdefinitionsoftermsandparametersinvolvedintheproperdesignofsiphonicdrainagesystems.ThisStandardappliestoroofdrainsdesigned,manufactured,andinstalledinpipingsystemsthatareintendedtooperateunderdepressurizedsiphonicconditionscreatedbytheconnectedpipingsystem.UnlessnotedotherwiseinthisStandard,therequirementsandstandardsforroofdrainsspecifiedinASMEA112.6.4donotapplytosiphonicroofdrains.ThisStandarddoesnotapplytoconventionalroofdrainscoveredunderASMEA112.6.4.ItisnottheintentofthisStandardtospecifythatadrainofagivendiametermustdrainaminimumormaximumamountofwater.ItistheintentofthisStandardtoprovidestandardizedtestprocedurestoensurethatdrainproductsareevaluatedequally.ThisStandarddoesnotdictateminimumflowordepthperformancecriteriaforsiphonicroofdrains.Instead,itspecifiesstandardtestprocedurestobeperformedonsiphonicroofdrainproductstodocumenttheiractualperformanceandphysicallimits.Thesedataaretobemadeavailableinmanufacturerliteratureforusebydesignersforselectingthedrainproductandenteringperformancecharacteristicsintodesigncalculations.
